In March 2023, the new exhibit "Squirrel Forest" opened! Set among trees such as the acorn-producing oak, Japanese maple with its vibrant autumn colors, and other foliage, the Japanese squirrels roam freely. You can stroll through the forest and get a close-up view of these charming creatures. Listen carefully and you might hear the sound of squirrels nibbling on nuts. You may even discover acorns they’ve hidden or pinecones they’ve munched on.
